Privacy policy
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Circle Fleet collects, uses and protects data: on this website, in the company console, and in the driver and client apps.
For the data of a delivery company's team, drivers, clients and receivers, the delivery company is responsible for that data, and we process it on its behalf to run the service. For the company's account and invoices, we are responsible.
2. The data we collect
- Sign-up: the company's name, the owner's name, email and mobile number. We never keep the password itself, only an encrypted fingerprint of it.
- Accounts: users' names, emails or numbers, and roles.
- Orders: the client and branch, the receiver's name, phone and address, the amounts, the order's state, and who changed it and when.
- Location: a driver's position from their phone during their shift only. We keep the latest position and the history of positions to run the map and follow orders.
- Money: prices, cash, pay, payments, invoices and the wallet.
- Use and security: a log of important changes, and the IP address and device type at sign-in, to protect accounts and prevent misuse.
- Notifications: the phone token needed to send notifications, when the user allows them.
3. How we use it
We use data to run the service (orders, assignment, tracking and accounts), to send account messages such as email confirmation and invoices, for support, to protect the service, and to meet our legal and tax duties. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Who receives data
We share data only with those who work for us in running the service, and only as much as needed:
- the hosting provider the service's servers run on;
- Resend, to send email (the address, the recipient's name and the message);
- Fawaterak, to take online payments (the payer's name, email, phone and the amount); card details never reach us and we do not keep them;
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver notifications to phones;
- OpenStreetMap, to show maps and to search for addresses you type (the address text only);
- an official or judicial authority, when the law requires us to.
5. Security and keeping companies apart
Each company's data is kept apart from every other's, and the database itself stops any session from seeing another company's data. Connections are encrypted, passwords are kept as encrypted fingerprints, two-step sign-in is available to every account, and amounts show only to those with the permission.
6. How long we keep data
We keep data while the company's account is open. A sign-up that is not confirmed lapses after 24 hours. After an account is closed, we delete the company's data or make it anonymous when it asks, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and what relates to them, for as long as it requires.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to get a copy of it. If your data is held by a delivery company (as a driver, client or receiver), contact that company first, as it is responsible for it; we help it carry out your request.
8. Cookies
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The company console uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and remember your language.
9. Changes
We may change this policy. We publish the new version here with its date, and tell you about any important change.
